Soccer Recap: Salesian College Preparatory Comes Up Short

Salesian College Preparatory was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Pinole Valley Spartans. That's two games in a row now that the Pride have lost by exactly two goals.

Salesian College Preparatory's record is now 3-8-4. As for Pinole Valley, their win was their first in the league, bumping their league record up to 1-2-4 and their overall record up to 4-5-5.

Salesian College Preparatory will head out on the road to square off against Saint Mary's at 3:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Pinole Valley, they will look to defend their home pitch on Wednesday against El Cerrito at 6:00 p.m. El Cerrito will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Pinole Valley surely won't give up without a fight.
