Softball Game Preview: Attica Red Ramblers vs. North Vermillion Falcons

For the second straight game, Attica will face off against North Vermillion. The Red Ramblers are taking a road trip to take on the Falcons at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Attica has given up an average of 11.8 runs per game this season, but Saturday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Things were looking good for Attica after they put the first run on the board on Saturday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They wound up with the same score they had in their last game (13-3), but sadly the team found themselves on the wrong side of the score this time.

Maddie Beck made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run. That home run marked the first that she has launched this season. Katelynn Driver was another key player, going 1-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one RBI.

North Vermillion's victory bumped their record up to 5-10. As for Attica, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five games. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-6 record this season.
