Basketball Game Preview: Beaverhead County Beavers vs. Butte Central Catholic Maroons

Beaverhead County is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They blew past Corvallis, posting a 69-21 victory. The team's explosion on offense also rewarded the Beavers with their most commanding win of the season.

Meanwhile, Butte Central Catholic hadn't done well against Hamilton recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. Butte Central Catholic sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 38-35 win over Hamilton. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Maroons.

Beaverhead County pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road. The wins came thanks to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 23.0 points per game. As for Butte Central Catholic, their win ended a three-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 3-4.
