Scott's game on Monday was all tied up 1-1 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Logan Wildcats 2-1. Scott have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw Logan, too.

Nick Elkins and Braden Marcum scored both of Scott's goals, which were season-firsts for both players.

Scott now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Logan, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Scott will square off against Lincoln County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Logan, they will challenge Mingo Central at 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
