Soccer Game Preview: Rockford Auburn vs. Christian Life

The Rockford Auburn Knights will face off against the Christian Life Eagles at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. Rockford Auburn's offense has struggled lately (the team hasn't scored more than a single goal for six straight games), a trend the team is no doubt ready to end.

Thursday just wasn't the day for Rockford Auburn's offense. They came up short against Harlem on Thursday, falling 8-0. Payton Coller was hit with a yellow card, which may have had some impact on her (and the team's) ability to make aggressive plays.

The home team had won the previous three meetings between Christian Life and Schaumburg Christian, and Schaumburg Christian kept the tradition alive. The Eagles lost 5-0 to the Conquerors on Thursday.

Christian Life's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Rockford Auburn, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-7.
