Basketball Recap: Goose Creek Gators vs. Greenville Red Raiders
Despite a phenomenal run in the regular season, Goose Creek couldn't carry that success into this playoff game. They fell 81-71 to the Greenville Red Raiders on Saturday. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Wednesday (60), the Gators still had to take the loss.

Shane Potts and Ja'Quell Brown certainly did their best on Saturday to avoid the loss. Potts shot 69% from the field to rack up 29 points, while Brown went 8-for-15 on his way to 27 points. Those 27 points gave Brown a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Brayden Langworthy, who posted six points and six assists.
It was another big night for Franklin Whitley, who dropped a double-double with 26 points and 14 boards for Greenville. Whitley is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as he's now pulled down nine or more in each of the last three games he's played. Another player making a difference was Caden Coleman, who shot 44% from the field en route to 21 points.
Goose Creek's loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 25-4. As for Greenville, the victory was the 19th in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 28-2.
