Villa Victoria Academy's offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.
Among those leading the charge was Sophia Vitanov, who scored 16 points along with three blocks. That's the first time this season that she scored 15 or more points. Rachel Corban was another key contributor, scoring nine points.
Villa Victoria Academy's win bumped their record up to 1-5. As for Community Academy of Philadelphia, they bumped their record down to 1-4 with that defeat, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.
Coincidentally, the two teams will both be playing The City School the next time they take the court. Villa Victoria Academy will head out to face The City School at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, while Community Academy of Philadelphia will host them at 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
