Volleyball Recap: Joseph City Comes Up Short

Joseph City came into their game on Friday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They lost 3-0 to the North Valley Christian Academy Lions. If the Wildcats were looking for revenge after losing 2-1 to the Lions when the teams met back in August of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Amber Neill paced Joseph City's offense, picking up six kills. Neill got some help from Tori Beatty and her seven assists. Raylee Fish and Jaydiana Kinlicheenie kept things locked in from the service line: the pair finished with two aces apiece.

Joseph City's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for North Valley Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 3-2.

Joseph City wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Mingus on the 30th. As for North Valley Christian Academy, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-0 win against Paradise Honors on the 30th.
