Colonial Forge skates past King George with ease

The Colonial Forge Eagles can finally bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Saturday. They really took it to King George for the full four quarters, racking up a 75-32 win on the road. That 43 points margin sets a new team best for Colonial Forge this season.

Colonial Forge was led to victory by Jayden Morris and Finn Perschau. Morris scored 14 points along with six steals, while Perschau scored 25 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Perschau has scored all season. Dakari Phillips was another key contributor, scoring ten points along with eight rebounds.

King George's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Ashton Jones, who scored six points.

Colonial Forge's win bumped their record up to 10-5. As for King George, they are on a seven-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-11.

Colonial Forge will be playing in front of their home fans against North Stafford at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for King George, they will head out on the road to challenge Spotsylvania at 6:30 p.m. on Monday. Spotsylvania is on a three-game streak of home losses, King George a five-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck is about to change.
