Baseball Game Preview: Glades Central Raiders vs. Pahokee Blue Devils

Glades Central is a perfect 10-0 against Pahokee since April of 2019 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Monday. The Raiders will head out to take on the Blue Devils at 6:00 p.m. The two teams have had a bumpy ride up to this point with three consecutive losses for Glades Central and 28 for Pahokee dating back to last season.

Glades Central came up short against Atlantic on Friday, falling 15-7.

Juan Mojica made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored three runs and stole seven bases while going 2-for-4. He has been hot recently, having posted at least one stolen base the last three times he's played. Allowishes Dula was another key player, scoring a run and stealing four bases while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

Meanwhile, Pahokee lost 17-7 to Lake Worth on Thursday.

Glades Central's loss dropped their record down to 4-12. As for Pahokee, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-13.

Everything went Glades Central's way against Pahokee in their previous matchup back in March, as Glades Central made off with an 11-1 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Raiders since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
