The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Cougars considering their 25-point performance the contest before.
Buna's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Kelsey Burton, who went 7 of 13 en route to 16 points and three steals. Those three steals gave Burton a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Madisyn Cotten, who dropped a double-double on 12 points and 11 rebounds.
Buna was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Sterling only racked up two assists.
