Kenston won the last time they faced South, and Braelyn Akins did his part to make sure it happened again. The Kenston Bombers came out on top against the South Rebels by a score of 57-44 on Friday thanks in part to Akins, who went 9 of 14 to rack up 23 points along with five boards and four steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in steals.

Kenston is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four games, which provided a massive bump to their 9-11 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 59.8 points over those games. As for South, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 7-12.
