Volleyball Recap: Sullivan Wins Going Away Against West Vigo

Sullivan won the last time they faced West Vigo and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Golden Arrows were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Vikings. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Golden Arrows.

While Sullivan won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-15, 25-22, 25-14.

Destiny Gaines paced Sullivan's offense, picking up eight kills. Gaines got some help from Rachel Eslinger and her 31 assists. Eslinger was also solid from the service line: she led the team with two aces.

Sullivan's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for West Vigo, the defeat snapped their winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 11-8 record.

Coming up, Sullivan will face off against White River Valley at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for West Vigo, they will head out to take on Shakamak at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
