Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lincoln). Everything went their way against the Christian Patriots on Tuesday as the Lincoln Hornets made off with a 7-2 win. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-2 back in December of 2024.

Lincoln is also on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last ten matches, which provided a nice bump to their 9-4-1 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 27 goals over those ten games. As for Christian, their loss ended a five-game streak of away wins and brought them to 7-3-3.

Lincoln wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next contest, a 7-2 victory against Logan Memorial Education Campus on the 30th. As for Christian, they also didn't take long to hit the pitch again: they've already played their next matchup, a 5-2 defeat against Canyon Hills on the 30th.
