Volleyball Recap: Union Grove Takes a Loss

Union Grove saw some tournament action on Saturday. They fell 2-0 to the Notre Dame Academy Tritons.

Caden Tajnai paced Union Grove's offense, picking up seven kills. Tajnai got some help from Alex Lapoint and his seven assists. Tyler Johnson controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Union Grove has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-6 record this season. As for Notre Dame Academy, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 7-4.

Union Grove didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Westosha Central on the 13th. As for Notre Dame Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 2-0 defeat against Franklin on the 13th.
