Andrew Lindquist put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in May of 2024 on Wednesday. He struck out seven batters over 6.2 innings while giving up just one earned run off two hits. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't given up more than two walks in three consecutive appearances.

Lindquist's strong effort led Skyline over Jordan and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Lindquist has dominated as far as strikeouts are concerned (he's averaged 5 per game this season), but he's got his work cut out for him considering the Beetdiggers have only allowed 3.17 per game this season.
