Basketball Recap: Woodstock Takes a Loss

Woodstock lost against White River Valley back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Woodstock Wasps received a blow as they fell 59-41 to the White River Valley Wildcats. The Wasps have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Woodstock's defeat dropped their record down to 9-7. As for White River Valley, the win keeps them at an undefeated 17-0.

Coming up, Woodstock will host Green Mountain at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Green Mountain will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something Woodstock surely won't give up without a fight. As for White River Valley, they will challenge Leland & Gray at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for Leland & Gray: they have been struggling with seven straight losses at home, while White River Valley has snatched up 13 consecutive wins on the road dating back to last season.
