Monroe had already won ten in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 11.3 runs) and they went ahead and made it 11 on Tuesday. They blew past the Crosshill Christian Eagles 10-3. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Dragons also won the last time the pair played back in May of 2024.

Monroe pushed their record up to 12-3 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. The road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.6 runs on average over those games. As for Crosshill Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 8-6.

Monroe will have a chance to go back-to-back against the Eagles: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
