Football Recap: Christian Collegiate Academy Takes a Loss

Christian Collegiate Academy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were dealt a 60-6 loss at the hands of the Amite School Center Rebels. That's two games in a row now that the Bulldogs have lost by exactly 54 points.

McKoy Strahan threw for 98 yards and one TD. Hagan Seal was his top target, picking up 40 receiving yards.

Christian Collegiate Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Amite School Center, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 4-1.

Coming up, Christian Collegiate Academy will square off against Clinton Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Amite School Center, they will face off against St. Aloysius at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The Flashes' defense has only allowed 14.6 points per game this season, so the Rebels' offense will have their work cut out for them.
