Arcanum entered their tilt with Mississinawa Valley on Thursday with six consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with seven. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Blackhawks. That's more bragging rights for the Trojans, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Arcanum was especially dominant in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-14, 25-19.

Caroline Long paced Arcanum's offense, picking up 15 kills. Long got some help from Halle Bennett and her 21 assists. Jordyn Garbig controlled things from the service line, finishing with four aces.

Arcanum's record is now 11-2. As for Mississinawa Valley, they moved to 11-2 with that defeat, which also ended their 11-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Arcanum will venture away from home to take on Kenton Ridge at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Mississinawa Valley, they will head out to face off against Union City at 5:30 p.m. on Monday.
