Volleyball Game Preview: Green Run Stallions vs. Princess Anne Cavaliers + Official Tickets

Green Run is 1-9 against Princess Anne since March of 2021 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Thursday. The Stallions will challenge the Cavaliers at 4:00 p.m. Considering both teams were shutout in their prior games, the pair is probably coming into this one with something to prove.

Green Run came up short against Kellam on Tuesday, falling 3-0.

Green Run took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-8, 25-12, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Princess Anne lost 3-0 to Kempsville on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their meetings with the Chiefs: they've now lost three in a row.

While Princess Anne was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 26-24, 25-15.

Princess Anne's defeat dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Green Run, their loss dropped their record down to an identical 3-15.

Green Run was able to grind out a solid victory over Princess Anne when the teams last played back in September, winning 3-1. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Stallions since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
