 Saranac put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season  on Monday. They blew past the Franklin Academy Huskies 10-3. The  victory was nothing new for Saranac as they're now sitting on five straight.
  Seth Petrashune made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he  pitched two innings while giving up   no  earned runs off   one  hit. Petrashune was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-3.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Alex Clancy, who  went 2-for-5 with two  runs, a  triple,  and a  stolen base.  Zack Lucia was another key contributor,  scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 1-for-3.
 On Franklin Academy's side,  Jordan Perry was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Saranac pushed their record up to 8-2 with that  win, which was their fifth straight  on the road. As for Franklin Academy,  this is  the second loss in a row for them and  nudges their season record down to 4-4.
 Saranac will be staying on the road  on Tuesday to face off against AuSable Valley at 4:30  p.m. Saranac is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.1  runs per game  this season. As for Franklin Academy, they will play host again  on Tuesday to welcome Potsdam, where first pitch is scheduled  at 4:30  p.m. Franklin Academy is facing Potsdam at the right time seeing as Potsdam is stuck on  a  five-game losing streak.
