Lawson came tearing into Tuesday's matchup with five straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 10 runs), and they left with even more momentum. They walked away with a 7-4 victory over the Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet Royals. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-0 on Monday.

C.J. Thornton was incredible, going 1-for-3 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Elliot Swihart was another key player, going 1-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.

Lawson's win bumped their record up to 20-10. As for Martin Luther King Jr. Magnet, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 12-10-1.
