Football Recap: Heritage Comes Up Short

Heritage fell victim to Bethel and their airtight defense on Friday. They were outmatched by the Bruins and fell 68-0. While losing is never fun, the Hurricanes can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Virginia football rankings (they are ranked 209th, while the Bruins are ranked 83rd).

Heritage is on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-5. As for Bethel, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 4-2.

We've got plenty of inter-region action coming up soon. Heritage is set to face off against their familiar foe Menchville at 7:00 p.m. on the 16th. Meanwhile, Bethel will square off against rival Phoebus at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
