Softball Recap: Secaucus Comes Up Short

If Secaucus was riding high fresh off their 15-5 takedown of North Bergen on Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Patriots fell just short of the Garfield Boilermakers by a score of 9-8 on Monday. The Patriots were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Boilermakers earlier this season, when they won 17-3.

Secaucus' loss dropped their record down to 8-5. As for Garfield, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 11-5.

Secaucus has already played their next game (against Harrison), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing. As for Garfield, they will welcome Palisades Park at 4:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
