Recap: Corvallis Blue Devils vs. Laurel Locomotives
The Corvallis Blue Devils had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They walked away with a 24-17 victory over Laurel on Saturday. The win was familiar territory for Corvallis who now have three in a row.
Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Corvallis to victory, but perhaps none more so than Aydan Mayn, who threw for 300 yards and a touchdown. Dillen Potter was another key contributor, picking up 153 receiving yards and a touchdown.
Corvallis' win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Laurel, their loss dropped their record down to 8-3.
Corvallis will stay at home for another week and welcome Columbia Falls at 1:00 p.m. on November 11th. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Montana (Columbia Falls is ranked third, while Corvallis is ranked fourth). Laurel does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
