Football Game Preview: New Home Leopards vs. Roscoe Plowboys

The New Home Leopards will challenge the Roscoe Plowboys at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (New Home has three straight wins, Roscoe has seven straight defeats), but none of that matters once you're on the field.

New Home is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They took their matchup on Friday with ease, bagging a 48-14 victory over Denver City. Perhaps unsurprisingly given the team's high-flying offense, the game also marked the team's biggest win of the season.

Meanwhile, Roscoe played a tough game on Friday in which they were outscored in every quarter. They lost 28-7 to Stamford.

New Home's victory bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Roscoe, their loss dropped their record down to 0-4.

New Home suffered a grim 26-6 defeat to Roscoe in their previous matchup back in September of 2024. Thankfully for the Leopards, Ivan Mccann (who rushed for 154 yards and two TDs) won't be suiting up this time. Will that be enough to change the final result? There's only one way to find out.
