West Stokes entered their tilt with McMichael on Friday with nine consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with ten. They blew past the Phoenix 16-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Wildcats have posted against the Phoenix since April 1, 2019.

West Stokes' win was their ninth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 20-2. Those road victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 13.4 runs over those games. As for McMichael, they have been struggling recently as they've lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 13-10 record this season.

McMichael wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next match, a 7-5 win against Reidsville on the 28th. Hopefully West Stokes paid attention to the Phoenix's game: the next time they hit the field, they'll take on the Phoenix at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
