You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Bruce Randolph's strategy against Montbello on Tuesday. The Bruce Randolph Grizzlies enjoyed a cozy 65-46 victory over the Montbello Warriors. That's two games straight that the Grizzlies have won by exactly 19 points.

Despite the loss, Montbello saw an underclassman step up: freshman Kian Martin went 8-for-18 en route to 22 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Martin has scored all season. Clyde Q was another key player, putting up nine points.

The win made it two in a row for Bruce Randolph and bumps their season record up to 6-13. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 3-18 Montbello and 4-16 Rocky Mountain Prep SMART. As for Montbello, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-18.

Looking ahead, Bruce Randolph will be taking part in a tournament against Rocky Mountain Prep SMART on Thursday. As for Montbello, they will challenge Lincoln at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
