Volleyball Recap: Delta Comes Up Short

Delta was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They fell 2-0 to the North Pemiscot Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on Monday.

Delta's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for North Pemiscot, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 13-3-1.

Delta will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Hayti at 5:00 p.m. on October 22. As for North Pemiscot, they have already played their next match, a 1-1 draw against Holcomb on the 26th.
