Football Recap: Flat Rock Comes Up Short + How To Watch

If Flat Rock was feeling good fresh off their 36-0 takedown of Airport last Friday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Rams came up short against the Jefferson Bears on Friday, falling 44-22. The Rams were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bears apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

When it comes to explaining why Flat Rock lost, don't look at Alex Beaudrie. Despite the final result, he picked up 47 receiving yards and a pair of touchdowns.

Luke Beaudrie had an outrageously good game for Jefferson as he rushed for 167 yards and three TDs while picking up 8.4 yards per carry, and also threw for 102 yards and one touchdown while completing 90.9% of his passes. Another player making a difference was Caiden Pfeiffer, who gained 59 total yards.

Flat Rock's loss dropped their record down to 3-2. As for Jefferson, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.
