Preview: Conifer Lobos vs. Summit Tigers

After five games on the road, Conifer is heading back home. They will take on the Summit Tigers at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Summit took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Conifer, who comes in off a win.

Conifer scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past Severn School 9-7. The win was just what Conifer needed coming off of a 13-4 defeat in their prior matchup.

Conifer's victory was truly a team effort as seven different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Luke Adams, who scored two runs and stole two bases while going 3-for-3. Jordan Zitkus was another key contributor, scoring a run while going 1-for-2.

Meanwhile, Summit was not able to break out of their rough patch last Saturday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Rifle.
