Baseball Game Preview: Stadium Tigers vs. Tahoma Bears

The Stadium Tigers will square off against the Tahoma Bears at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this matchup.

Stadium is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to 13 runs on Wednesday, they were much more limited against North Creek on Saturday. They lost 11-2 to the Jaguars. The Tigers' loss signaled the end of their three-game winning streak.

Stadium saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Riley Dinicola, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.

Meanwhile, Tahoma was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They were two runs away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-3 heartbreaker at the hands of Mercer Island. That's two games in a row now that the Bears have lost by exactly two runs.

Tahoma also got a good showing from Sean Evans, who tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits.

Stadium's loss dropped their record down to 4-10. As for Tahoma, their defeat dropped their record down to 9-7-1.
