Basketball Recap: Kennedy Catholic's Loss Ends Seven-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Kennedy Catholic has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 51-40 to the Tahoma Bears on Friday. Sadly, that's the second time they've come up short against the Lancers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 43-29 back in December of 2024.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Tahoma to victory, but perhaps none more so than Bailey Nettleton, who went 5 for 9 on her way to 15 points and five rebounds. Another player making a difference was Adalynn S Busch, who went 6 of 13 en route to 14 points and eight boards.

Kennedy Catholic's defeat ended a seven-game streak of away wins and brought them to 12-5. As for Tahoma, their win was their 17th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 15-3.

Kennedy Catholic has already played their next matchup, a 55-35 victory against Auburn Riverside on the 28th. As for Tahoma, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 62-47 win against Kentridge on the 28th.
