Emerald was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their ninth straight loss. They took a 54-35 bruising from the Laurens Raiders. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Vikings this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 49-39 back in January.

Several Vikings players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jurnee Williams, who posted six points along with six rebounds and four steals. Williams has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last four times she's played.
