Soccer Recap: MacArthur Takes a Loss

MacArthur was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 3-2 heartbreaker at the hands of the Pearce Mustangs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Mustangs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 2-1 back in February.

MacArthur's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for Pearce, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-9.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight will be fought as the MacArthur face off against the Irving at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Irving will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something MacArthur surely won't give up without a fight. As for Pearce, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Berkner at 7:15 p.m. on March 7th.
