South Sevier waltzed into their match on Tuesday with eight straight wins... but they left with nine. They came within five points of losing the streak, but they secured a 49-44 W against the Beaver Beavers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 50-45 back in January.

South Sevier was led to victory by Sydnee Patterson and Caitlin Nielson. Patterson went 6 of 11 en route to 15 points and six assists, while Nielson went 5 for 9 to rack up 14 points along with five rebounds and four steals. That's the most points Nielson has posted since back in January of 2024. Another player making a difference was CooperLynne Green, who put up seven points.

South Sevier's victory was their sixth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 19-3. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.3 points over those games. As for Beaver, their loss dropped their record down to 14-7.

South Sevier wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next game, a 70-19 win against Parowan on the 6th. As for Beaver, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 51-25 victory against Enterprise on the 6th.
