Baseball Recap: St. Martin Has No Trouble Against Harrison Central

St. Martin lost a heartbreaker the last time they played Harrison Central, but it's fair to say they got their revenge given the result of Friday's game. St. Martin was the clear victor by an 11-2 margin over Harrison Central on Friday. The Yellow Jackets not only won on Friday, but they posted their biggest win since April 19, 2024.

Will Roebuck and Noah Jenner did most of the damage at the plate: Roebuck scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3, while Jenner scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-2. The dominant performance also gave Roebuck a new career-high in RBI (two). Gavin Nitcavic was another key player, scoring a run while going 1-for-4.

St. Martin's win bumped their record up to 9-5. As for Harrison Central, they dropped their record down to 3-10 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: Harrison Central beat St. Martin by a score of 7-5 on Saturday.
