Baseball Game Preview: West Jefferson Panthers vs. Firth Cougars

West Jefferson is 0-10 against Firth since April of 2019 but things could change on Tuesday. The Panthers will host the Cougars at 4:00 p.m.

West Jefferson is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their 15th straight game dating back to last season on Saturday. They came up short against Firth, falling 10-0. The contest marked the first time this season in which the Panthers were not able to get on the board.

For Firth's part, Quinton Hall made a big impact while hitting and pitching. On the mound, he pitched one inning while giving up no earned runs off one hit. The dominant performance also gave Hall a new career-high in strikeouts (three). He was also big at the plate, scoring a run while going 1-for-3.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Brycen Andersen, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs, one triple, and one stolen base. Those three hits gave him a new career-high.
