Baseball Recap: Middle Park Takes a Loss

Middle Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 17-2 to the Moffat County Bulldogs. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Bulldogs this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 14-2 on Tuesday.

Diogui Laynes made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with two stolen bases, one run, and one double. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged two or more in each of the last three games he's played.

Middle Park's defeat dropped their record down to 2-17. As for Moffat County, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-17.

As of now, neither Middle Park nor the Bulldogs have any future games scheduled.
