Southeast has gone 10-0 against Bayshore recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Southeast Seminoles will venture away from home to challenge the Bayshore Bruins at 7:30 p.m. Southeast will be strutting in after a win while Bayshore will be coming in after a loss.

Southeast took a loss when they played away from home on Friday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They came out on top against Manatee by a score of 68-56.

Meanwhile, Bayshore was beaten by Parrish Community 62-32 on Tuesday. While losing is never fun, the Bruins can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 592nd, while the Bulls are ranked 246th).

Southeast will need focus on slowing down Anthony Matute, one of several Bayshore players who made an impact when they last played. He went 5 of 8 en route to 12 points.

Bayshore has been struggling recently as they've lost eight of their last nine games, which put a noticeable dent in their 5-19 record this season. That patch can't be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.6 points per game. As for Southeast, their victory bumped their record up to 12-9.

Everything came up roses for Southeast against Bayshore in their previous meeting back in December of 2024, as the team secured a 77-26 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Southeast since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
