Volleyball Recap: Winnebago Comes Up Short

Winnebago lost against Rock Falls back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Indians took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Rockets.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-16.

Winnebago has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-16-1 record this season. As for Rock Falls, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 15-11.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Winnebago will take on rival Rockford Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Rock Falls is set to challenge their familiar foe North Boone at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
