Softball Recap: Alisal Comes Up Short

Alisal fell victim to Palma and their airtight pitching crew on Friday. They came up short against the Chieftains, falling 6-0. The Trojans were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Chieftains earlier this season, when they won 9-2.

Nevaeh Lopez spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered just two earned (and four unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up six Ks.

This is the second loss in a row for Alisal and nudges their season record down to 18-7. As for Palma, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-14-1.

As of now, neither Alisal nor the Chieftains have any future games scheduled.
