Flag Football Recap: Jurupa Hills Spartans vs. Rim of the World Fighting Scots
After only six points in their last contest, Jurupa Hills made sure to put some points up on the board against Rim of the World on Tuesday. The Spartans blew past the Fighting Scots 38-7. Considering the Spartans have won five games by more than 20 points this season, Tuesday's blowout was nothing new.

A big part of Jurupa Hills' victory came down to the chemistry between Emelie Castrejon and her top target Jaylene Murillo. Castrejon threw for 289 yards and six TDs while completing 73.1% of her passes while Murillo picked up 215 receiving yards and five touchdowns. Those 215 receiving yards gave Murillo a new career-high.
Jurupa Hills didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. The picks came courtesy of Kamaya Johns and Jazel Lopez. Johns has been hot recently, having posted at least one interception the last three times she's played.
