Savannah extended their winning streak to five games thanks to a huge performance from Caylor Schrick. The Savages blew past the Benton Cardinals 56-18 on Friday thanks in part to Schrick, who rushed for 111 yards and three TDs on only six carries, and also threw for ten yards and one touchdown. He got the majority of those rushing yards when he took off on a run that went for an incredible 62 yards.

Savannah's victory bumped their record up to 5-0. As for Benton, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Savannah is set to take on their familiar foe Cameron at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Benton will face off against rival Maryville at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
