Basketball Game Preview: Logan Longhorns vs. Springer Red Devils

The Logan Longhorns are taking a road trip to square off against the Springer Red Devils at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Logan knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with 55 points or more in their past seven matches -- so hopefully Springer likes a good challenge.

Last Thursday, Logan was fully in charge, breezing past Grady 81-49. The Longhorns have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 16 contests by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Springer posted their biggest win since January 27th on Thursday. They put the hurt on Wagon Mound with a sharp 80-56 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Red Devils.

Logan's win bumped their record up to 20-3. As for Springer, their victory bumped their record up to 11-14.

Everything went Logan's way against Springer when the teams last played back in January of 2024, as Logan made off with a 70-48 win. Will Logan repeat their success, or does Springer have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
