South Central waltzed into their game on Friday with six straight wins... but they left with seven. Their pitcher stepped up to hand the Kouts Mustangs & Fillies an 11-0 shutout. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 10-7 back in April.

Maddy Cleek made a splash no matter where she played. On the mound, she didn't allow a single earned run while striking out six over five innings pitched. Cleek was also solid in the batter's box, going 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to hits, as she's now got three or more in each of the last three games she's played.

In other batting news, Marlee Cavinder was incredible, going a perfect 4-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double. Those four hits gave her a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Grace Shukitis, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI and one double.

South Central kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. They are a perfect 11-0 when they post 11 or more hits.

South Central's record is now 15-5. As for Kouts, their defeat dropped their record down to 8-11.

South Central didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next matchup, a 4-3 loss against Boone Grove on the 16th. As for Kouts, they have also already played their next contest, a 16-5 defeat against Rensselaer Central on the 18th.
