Madera South fell victim to Hoover and their airtight pitching crew on Saturday. They took a 5-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Patriots. The Stallions have struggled against the Patriots recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive lost meeting.

David Moles was cooking despite his team's loss, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one triple and one stolen base. That triple was his first of the season.

Madera South's loss dropped their record down to 1-8. As for Hoover, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-6.
