Basketball Recap: Catalyst-Maria's Losing Streak Is a Thing of the Past

Catalyst-Maria had to endure a three-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. Their defense stepped up to hand the DuSable Panthers a 2-0 shutout on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolves also won the last time the pair played back in December of 2022.

Catalyst-Maria's victory bumped their record up to 4-9. As for DuSable, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-5.

Catalyst-Maria has already played their next contest, a 34-31 win against DRW College Prep on the 28th. As for DuSable, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Bowen at 4:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
