Baseball Recap: Cedarburg Takes a Loss

Cedarburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 4-0 to the Port Washington Pirates, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior. Unfortunately, that's the third time they've come up short against the Pirates this season, with their most recent defeat being a 4-0 loss on Wednesday.

Cedarburg's defeat dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Port Washington, they pushed their record up to 10-14 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

Cedarburg wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 5-4 loss against Grafton on the 23rd. As for Port Washington, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 10-9 win against West Bend East on the 23rd.
